Classes

in and around Malvern

for beginners and experienced practitioners

Currently all classes are held at Elmslie House, 8 Avenue Rd, Malvern WR14 3AG

Elmslie House has a large hall upstairs and past the front door to the family house, you will find another door around the corner.  Head down the stairs for Elgar Room.

It is easily accessed by public transport and many students choose to come on their bicycles.

A weekly class forms an important part of our development in our yoga practise.  It supports us as our lives are in continual fluctuation and we can come back each week and refresh ourselves in our studies.  Students are encourage to build a home practise that fits into their lifestyle. Classes are challenging and supportive, working in a progressive manner through the Iyengar Yoga method.

Yoga can support many situations.  Menopausal symptoms can throw the system out of balance.  The nature of yoga is to balance, so the practice is especially beneficial at this time.

Maitri: translated as friendliness.  In our practice, we learn to make friends with our own body by bringing it to life through the many asanas available to us.
