To retreat means to draw inward. The practice of Yoga is to retreat inwards, which we do each week at class and in our practise at home. To take ourselves away for a weekend or week allows us to absorb ourselves in a different routine and witness the changes.
Being in nature and with friendly supportive people, eating good food and sharing adventures allows our inner self to grow. Immersing the body with a chance for yoga in the morning and evening, the whole body system begins to change and asana take on new meanings.
As a mother of five children, Annie has experience of finding joy in simple pleasures, feeding big groups of people delicious food and sharing relationships in different ways. She has many years experience taking people to beautiful places and intends to create a safe, relaxed fun atmosphere where people can explore the subject of yoga in new ways.
We return to this magical Devon peninsular to spend time with our Yoga practice. This year we have created a shorter, more immersive programme and will be working with two inspiring and talented photographic artists, Iona Sherwood and Ellen Kydd
Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to be involved with this brand new project which has been several years in the making.
